Athletes are taught what exercises they need to do in order to increase their speed, strength, endurance, technique etc. but most of the time we aren't taught how we can get these things out under pressure in competition. We need to train the mental side just like we need to our body. Mental training is not only essential for athletes to perform at their best but it also helps in all aspects of life.
In the talk Stronger Mind I talk about why we need to train our mind and how it completely turned my career around. Additionally, I teach my 5 basic methods in mental training. The talk is one hour.
I also offer the course Stronger Mind where I not only talk about these methods, I teach your athletes exactly how they can use them. The athletes get projects to practice and take active part. The course is two hours.

Ásdís captivates the listener with the talk "Stronger Mind", but the vivid presentation makes us think about the importance of the mental side for athletes.
Bergþóra Guðjónsdóttir
- Breiðablik Athletics Board Member
The course that Ásdís held for the senior group of Breiðablik's athletics department was a complete hit with both the participants and the board of the department. The course discussed the influence of mindset on success in sports and the importance of athletes working systematically to strengthen the mental side along the physical. Ásdís is an excellent speaker and really delivered the material well. She reached the group well and related the topic to their reality. The participants were also given a lot of tools to work with, both in training and in competition.
